Praise the Lord!

The New Light Church was  established May 11, 2003 in a strip center on Gross Rd in Mesquite, TX. The congregation quickly blossomed, and in 2004, New Light Church opened its doors at 9314 Elam Rd in Pleasant Grove. During this time numerous events and ministries came to fruition, including: the praise dance ministry, the drama ministry, the annual church picnic, and the annual back-2-school drive.

On January 7th, 2021, the New Light Church family was devastated as our home of nearly 17 years burned to the ground in the dead of night. Though bent, the New Light family is far from broken. New Light was blessed by the generosity of the Inspiration Church, who allowed us to worship in their sanctuary during that time. On December 5th, 2021 the New Light Family opened the doors on our new worship home, located at 1300 S Beltline Rd in Mesquite, TX.

For nearly 20 years, the New Light Church has served the community-wherever the Lord may place us-through ministry and outreach. The building may have been gone, but the CHURCH is alive and well! We welcome you to "taste and see that the LORD is good," here at the New Light Church. Returning member or brand new visitor; online or in-person-we'll always be glad, glad, glad, glad, GLAD...that you are here!
